The body cam videos make Wisconsin look just as bad or worse than Florida. I will say the inner city is horrible. This place could genuinely help do that - most places want to discourage you from ordering offline so that you can just place an order through them. I genuinely like helping an LGS out, but I can’t justify paying $200-$300 more just to help a local place out. In addition to that, so many places want to treat you like an asshole for transferring something through them.
Having a resource with stuff like “this dude is cool - charges $35, but will waive the fee if you buy $100 worth of ammo/accessories” or “dude is kinda a dick, but only charges $15”. Even better if they have an account here and you can say “hey @GunShopGuy - you going to be open Good Friday? Would like to order this but leaving town Saturday and want to pick it up before!”

I knew a guy that would fill out a 4473 if he was shipping to another ffl. Like not doing a background check just shipping it out. He would attach a copy of the ffl to the 4473 and file it. I told him his ISO must LOVE him. Its like dude your A&D is for that not a 4473.Â

That's silly, but at least not eight 4473s. There's probably some organizational reason that they want to do that, like if they have to do a trace, trasnfers won't be on the same paperwork as a local sale, but it's definitely not required. I'd ask, just out of curiosity.

To be quite honest, LGS's go out of their way to deny themselves the sale.
I'll call my LGS and let them know I'm going to put an order in and to expect it, which they appreciate, but also give them a chance at the sale. I just say this is what I'm buying, from where and how much. Half the time they don't have it stock from their distributors. Other times my price is like $499 and they're at $679. Ok, take your $30 bucks.

A lot of times they're not going to be able to come close to some bigger places or shops online that happen to get massive discounts from their distributors, or just happen to snag a good deal or whatever. The margins on guns aren't very big and they probably can't afford to come down that much.
$30 is pretty good in any case. Lowest I've seen this decade is $25. It's still a service that you need and they are not obligated to provide.

I charge up to 2 fees per 4473 and that’s only if I have to fill out a 3310 cause that one’s super annoying. $30 for the public, $20 for friends, family, LEOs, or someone with a TX LTC that I don’t have to run a NICS check on. And honestly be cool and I probably will “accidentally” undercharge you. And I also don’t charge any fees if you order through me.
