Where to visit in Switzerland + questions

In late July I’m going to Paris then Switzerland, Florence and Rome. I currently can’t decide where to visit. I’ll be in each spot for about 3 days and what really matters to me the most in Switzerland is the hiking and beautiful places. Any suggestions?? Also if I buy the eurorail pass will that be able to take me to all of those places. Last question is anything I should know before hand, it’s my first time solo traveling and I’m 18m. Thanks in advance!!

lauterbrunnen or grindelwald for 3 days of hiking is honestly the move, both are in the bernese oberland and you can day trip between them easily so you're not wasting time relocating. late july is peak wildflower season up there so the valleys are insane.
one thing people miss: get the half fare card instead of or alongside the eurail if you're doing a lot of swiss trains, switzerland's rail network is its own beast and the half fare card often saves you more within the country specifically.
also yes the eurail covers paris, italy, AND swiss trains so you're good on that front, just book seat reservations early for the high-speed routes like paris to anywhere in italy or they fill up fast.

This! When you get to Lauterbrunnen you can get the train or cable to visit other near by villages, absolutely gorgeous!
When I decided to go in 2019 everyone said "don't go because it's expensive ", I ignored that and did it anyway. Best decision i ever made. Yes, get the half card and book hostels using the app called HostelWorld. In Lauterbrunnen i stayed at Valley Hostel. Highly recommend. Another place that is absolutely stunning is Interlaken. There I stayed at Lake Lodge hostel, got there by quick bus ride and left by boat, and let me tell you, what a view.

You are on the shoestring sub... personally, I'd say don't go to Switzerland!
If you want to spend less money it's not the right country for you.
