[Parts] APF AR-15 Stripped Lower Receiver - 74.99 No Free S/H

They have a billet version for 84.99 but uses 6061 T-6 Aluminum. Based on previous Reddit post it seems APF is a decent brand for lowers. This is my first post for this sub reddit so I hope it helps. Midwest also seems like a fine store, just be prepared for a lot of emails if you subscribe to their newsletter.

I just looked it up and it says they still are. I tried to find as much current information with reviews about their lowers and the most recent was like a 2-3 year post. They are comparable to PSA lowers, one comment said they have a “fun box” idk what that is but that was on comment from a reddit post I found when researching the brand.

Very nice quality on mine though you can imagine my disappointment when I realized their side charging handle is in the wrong spot for a Mega SBU upper… that’s on me though lol. With Young and Eisenach side charging carriers being discontinued or defunct it’s looking like I’ll need to have one of my existing carriers modified for a handle

I have a complete rifle from them that's about a decade old and probably has 4000 rounds through it, nothing wrong with it, nothing special about it either, they didn't stake the gas key or castle nut though but other than its been a decent rifle

I had to warranty one cause the buffer tube threads were hella loose tolerance, but they did send me a new one.

How was the new one? The most recent reddit review about them was 2+ years ago but most people then compared the to PSA. All I see now is the folding lowers they make. I want to try to have more relevant info about them so if someone is in my boat they have that information.

New one is fine, a lower is a lower to me. Hard to sell because no one has ever heard of APF lol.

I appreciate your response, my biggest worry about a lower brand is the QA. When I look into buying lowers that is the first thing (that’s why I stay away from BCA) I look at so I’m glad they made it right and the lower fits proper. I hope that this post will come up for people in the future who will be looking at purchasing a lower are have questions about APF. Thank you knoxknife!
