Yes, they enjoyed popularity and got a nice (brief, unsustainable) bubble of money out of it, but at what cost. Kerry’s even said that the stress & intrusion into her personal life caused her to have breakdowns and trauma flashbacks to her difficult past (she grew up around hard drugs, prostitution etc)

To this day 25 years on, I remember hearing how a pap broke into the hospital during/after she gave birth to her child to take unsolicited photos of her body, the culture back then was creepy.
