I’m looking to go from Chicago (ORD) to Vegas (LAS) and back from July 2nd to July 6th, any help and tips would be appreciated

Google Flights, then book directly with the airline (by following the links on Google Flights). Book soon since it’s a holiday. I see $214 RT on Spirit right now (carry on or checked baggage will be additional).

It will be around $168 if they buy at the airport. It’s an extra $46 convenience fee to buy online.

excuse my ignorance, but this is a thing? if i live close to an airport and find tickets online, do i just show them the ticket at the counter? how does this work? thanks in advance :)

You first check the business hours online. You show up at the baggage drop off area and tell them you want to buy your ticket. You give them the dates, airports and your name. You save $23 on each leg of your flight. So if you have a round trip ticket with two legs. You may save around $92. You have to remember that every ticket has a minimum charge of $15.40 to cover for taxes and airport fees.

thank you so much!!!

They might not live close enough to an airport to make that worthwhile though

Dont know if true for the US too - I use it for Europe & Asia- but I really like kayak.com better than skyscanner.

Just go to Skyscanner put in your dates and choose the cheapest option.
