ULPT: How do I receive a jury summons?

I would really, really like to be on jury duty right now. Preferably for a LONG trial. I do not want to get out of jury duty; I very much would like to be performing my civic duty right now. Other than wishing hard attempting to manifest this magic piece of mail and my selection to a jury pool, are there any ways of making this happen?

Move to LA, get your CA drivers license, register a car, and register to vote. You’ll have a summons in 30-60 days. Bonus ULPT: The good news is that LA County is large, that you can just throw away the summons if you don’t want to participate. The county doesn’t have the resources to chase down ignored summonses.

Wish they were transferable...just got one a few weeks ago and I really wish I hadn't hahaha.
