I owned this truck for over six years and had never tried it until yesterday. I found the cassette at Mom’s house and I’ve ALWAYS loved the Beach Boys. The 9yr old thought it was really cool too! 😎

Well, some of the recent cars ('98 and later) have both a cassette player and a CD player. They at least work good.👦🏾👋🏽😊🚙💿▶️⏪️⏩️⏮️⏭️⏹️⏯️⏏️◀️

Never thought tape players would ever be taken out of cars. Yes, I was stupid. 😂

Beach Boys greatest hits Vol.2 was Christmas present in 88 or 89. Had Barabara Ann on it. Played it till you could hear the warble.
Good memories.

I would listen to both sides of Weird Al - Dare to Be Stupid on repeat as I soaked in the nostalgia

That joystick on the right side of the radio face feels super familiar. What car is this?
SweetCosmicPope@reddit
It looks like a 90s jeep stereo, but they said it was a truck.

Even before the music kicks in, the sound of loading a cassette is kinda ASMR.

I used to rock that fade/balance rocker so much, my parents hated it
