It's flat where i run, no excuse for it. Nearly as bad as the 4 wheelers.

Or it's the LTL guy tailgating with two empty lanes and won't go around. I try to stay out of the way but everyone does this dumb shit and it's infuriating.
spongeknob07@reddit (OP)
Any of the megas can't. We all have camera's that will go off for tailgating. Saia being the most sensitive i've experienced.
SlothyTendecies@reddit
Guess I should've said local guys. Not really the megas but the smaller day cab companies annoy the shit out of me.

I hear ya there. Beat up trucks, driving like mad max. especially container jockeys in my area. Doing 15 over riding everyones bumper. Constantly flipping on the turn into my terminal area 🤣
Adventurous_Shock338@reddit
My experience is quite different. It's always people in the old petes and kenworths doing this sh*t. You can fly to the moon with your empty flat bed or light load yet you choose to keep speeding up when I try to pass you.
TheRealOutis@reddit
But the LTL driver is a flat faced sleeper cab and the OTR driver is a compact car? Could've put a little more effort into this bro
kpg360@reddit
It’s not about being a an A-hole, it’s more about safety. As a trucker you should understand, you need to see what’s up ahead. They are blind behind you. You can see over them, they can’t see over you.
aviatortylor@reddit
Wait, I’m not the only one who has noticed this?
tvieno@reddit
My fav is the mega you pass and you know they got that radar that goes off when they are following too close. You schooch on over and they back off like you are dropping nails on the road.
Nero-Danteson@reddit
It's not just that. Following distance is a metric we can get fired over. But hell, if you've got the gumption to pass us then you have the gumption to get further up too.
KingofthePi11@reddit
Diabolical yet efficient lmao
truckinfarmer379@reddit
All the freaking time. The ones that aggravate me are the ones who speed up as I start to pass, then I slide back in behind them and they all of a sudden forget where the accelerator is again
blastedinsanity@reddit
Or they speed up to make it take longer to pass. When you finally do pass them, they're miles behind you like they go back to cruise speed
tvieno@reddit
You pass them and they just disappear as if they never were there.
ED__209@reddit
Yep my company don't play about them gate times.
TruckerBiscuit@reddit
I'm always doing 65. Uphill or downhill. 65. Either we make it work or we don't.
bearded-trucker8@reddit
Got places to be MF move!
norseprincesspdx@reddit
🤣
seem92@reddit
Now everyone just dropped 20mph because Timmy forgot which peddle is to go
Deodorized@reddit
"I was going 85+ until I got to this truck's trailer tires, I think now is a good time to slow it down and hang out for the next 20 miles until I remember I have to get off in 0.01 miles."
JankyMark@reddit
lol facts miles up the road they start slowing down
