Im really short on cash, and wondering if theres places to easily sell a ton of things. I know pawn shops/tech resale are the easy answer for technology which I have in mind. But are there places for toys, knickknacks, etc? Honestly looking for any resale shop of any kind yall can think of. Thanks.

I’m not sure about places exclusively in Plano. But if you have a ton of books, try half price books. Especially if you have a complete set of a series. Those will sell decently in full.

My son works at Half Priced Books and he recommends to go elsewhere to sell your books. They buy for minuscule amounts.

I didn’t know that.

Half Price Books won’t pay enough to cover the gasoline to drive to their store. 😂

Expect like $0.10-.50 per book, if even.

There is a market research place in the corner of Parker and independence- across Custer from the ballet place that we used to go taste chips,‘or shave our legs to test products and we would get cash. I’m sorry it’s not answering your question, but I used to sell plasma and do market research when I needed extra

There are shops that buy stuff like that in the metroplex depending on what you have. Some of them try to rip you off though. If you want to PM me if you want with details of what you are selling, I can recommend the right shop for you.

Check the Plano Antique Mall Facebook page. They will hold a parking lot (flea market) sale on Sat, April 25. They sell spots for $40. Other places may hold similar events, since spring is the popular time.

If you have any sort of collectibles try Madness.

They buy collectible comics? Do they have them in a certain section? Last time I was in I saw they had 2-3 graded comics in case and figured they dont buy them.

One possibility is to get a table at the Denton flea market. They aren't free, and you need a lot of change up front, which might be difficult if you are short of cash.
However, your idea of what things are worth may be inflated. It would hurt visiting the flea market to get a feel for how much people are charging for similar items, and if they sold between the beginning of the day and the end of the day.
If you have a friend with a house, maybe they would let you hold a garage sale at their house, Plano allows two per year per house.
Some estate sales companies will take things on commission if they have a physical location. They are likely picky on what they will take. Cash, coins, and guns are their favorite.

Kid to Kid in Frisco and FB Marketplace is great if you join various garage sale type groups.
