Winter Rust 2026: Storm Trooper 22lr and matching sidearm.

EZ-22 printed in PETG black and white. Firing pin is a M3x45(i think) bolt weighted with .224 lead. Sites are just some printed air soft sites with a paper clip acting as the reticle with a white dot in the middle (accuracy is as questionable as legality).

The only non printed parts are the bolts and springs (and 1” of a paper clip) as well as the trigger and safety mechanism since I had extra of those laying around.

Barrel is a Redman’s .22lr barrel liner.

The sidearm is a Harlot “Quiet Girl”. A 3d printed derringer with an integrated suppressor. Same as above. Only non 3d printed parts are bolts and springs. Firing pin is another m3.

The EZ shoots a little less than consistently. I didn’t cut the barrel perfectly flush so there’s a couple of spots where the firing pin doesn’t crush the primer correctly. I think if I play around with the firing pin I can get it to shoot consistently. The shot in the video took about 3 hits to set off. Cycling is also a little spotty but I think that if I sand the chamber as smooth as possible that should fix that.

The side arm fires consistent enough that I would honestly almost consider it for an EDC if it wasn’t a single shot. It has a 6 round magazine in the grip but I have to load each round individually. I don’t currently have a photo of that but I’ll upload it to the comments later.

I’m trying to make the barrel sleeve for the EZ to have an integrated suppressor as well but I’m having some trouble with it blowing itself apart. I think the main issue is that the sleeve js too long compared to the barrel and is allowing the gas to expand inside the “non blast chamber” section putting too much pressure on everything. Going to play around with that too to get it right. Otherwise, the sleeves are completely interchangeable and hot-swappable.

As a bonus, in case anybody was wondering, the sleeve split right down the middle so I get to show you a little peak at how the suppressor is designed lol.

I’ll post the vids in the comments since Reddit doesn’t seem to like people posting photos and vids in the same post on mobile.
