I wonder why worf doesn't just go to crusher for parenting advice.

I mean she's the only other senior staff on the ship with kids.
PauseAffectionate720@reddit
Because Dr. Crusher is a wooomaann. 🤣
And because Picard hates kids just like Worf. 😃
transmigratingplasma@reddit
The next episode, Bloodlines ep22, Picard seeks Beverly's advice concerning Jason Vigo ☺️
TomBirkenstock@reddit
I was going to say that Picard won't judge Worf for being a terrible parent, like Crusher might.
Temporary-Star2619@reddit
And Crusher wanted him to accept being a paraplegic in an episode. Other maverick doctor restored his mobility.
farmallnoobies@reddit
I can't remember when this happened, but O'Brien also has kids.
And him having to deal with worfs horrible parenting is yet another way he must suffer
PauseAffectionate720@reddit
O'Brien had kid with Keiko, the botanist. But I don't recall the parenting advice to him from Worf 😅
Seeker80@reddit
Picard: He's going to turn out just like the boy.
Worf: It may already be too late. I've told him to be quiet, many time. He refuses!
Picard: Wesley was taken away by the Traveler. Perhaps some other alien being will adopt Alexander.
Worf: We can make sure that he's available. Chief O'Brien can help...
ExcitingWinter1800@reddit
Crusher got away from Wesley for a whole year but ended up going back, in Worf's eyes she won the big prize then threw it away.

Jason Alexander. Won't stop going on about solving problems.
endswithnu@reddit
Maybe he doesn't want Alexander to turn out like Wesley
ErandurVane@reddit
Ironically Wesley went to Picard for advice more often than Crusher lol
eveezoorohpheic@reddit
I mean if you had a close enough relationship with Picard, wouldn't you also choose to get his advice on issues you face?
PauseAffectionate720@reddit
Nobody should turn out like Wesley.

Picard also had daddy issues with his father. Maurice Picard was against his son joining Starfleet.
Ravenbrah1701@reddit
Shut up, Alexander. Works every time
ShortBussyDriver@reddit
HA!
Ravenbrah1701@reddit
Hey, they said it to Wesley and he turned out fine 🤣🤣 And to be fair, Alexander turned out okay too lol
ShortBussyDriver@reddit
Worf should have gone to see Dukat. Dukat knows how to handle kids being bratty.
He leaves them to be vaporized by a supernova.
ShortBussyDriver@reddit
It is my laughing hour, father.
thegovernment0usa@reddit
He's a shit kid but he has a shit parent
Due_Example1096@reddit
You mean the one who let her kid be groomed by a weird stranger who almost left them stranded in imaginationland, and then tried to peace out to go make it with a ghost on Scotworld?
Red-Sun-Cinema@reddit
Worf's far too masculine to stoop so low as to ask advice from a female.
sidv81@reddit
Worf (after meeting Jack Crusher in Picard): Actually, Alexander doesn't seem that bad now.
LGBT-Barbie-Cookout@reddit
You mean the parent of the child who had an amazing advantage, the best tutors, the best skills, everyone including Worf became personally invested in
Only for Wes to toss it all away to become a space bum?
🙃
PurpleHawkeye619@reddit
Worf is so bad a parent he literally cant recognize a good one.
So ofc he picked the only person on the ship who dislikes kids more than he does
Stargazer1701d@reddit
Picard is Worf's cha'dIch. And Picard did give Worf some good advice on how to get Alexander interested in his Klingon heritage: take him to a Klingon festival on a nearby planet.
Belle_TainSummer@reddit
Worf: "Captain, I am having problems with Alexander"
Captain: "Mister Worf, perhaps you should talk to Doctor Crusher"
Worf: "That does not help, Captain, Wesley still lives with her. How did you manage to pawn him off on her and convince her you had nothing to do with him? That is what I need"
Picard: "Just get out of my office"[Worf leaves]"Damn, thought I covered that up better."
Fuzzy_Builder_2153@reddit
Worthless didn't love his son by not beating him!
terradaktul@reddit
To me it makes sense that a Klingon would ask his male military superior for advice rather than a parent, or even his own human parents.
TheJohnnyFlash@reddit
He sees Picard as his mentor is pretty much everything.
BlueRFR3100@reddit
Beverly may not be the best person to ask considering that fact that she raised a criminal.
metfan1964nyc@reddit
He could see her results with Wesley.
buckarooholiday@reddit
They missed an opportunity by not making Alexander and Wesley the same age. The good eps with them are when they have characters their own age.
At least they fixed that for DS9 with Jake and Nog. And also making Sisko a good parent.
-dakpluto-@reddit
It's ok, they pretty much made Alexander the same age as Wesley on DS9...
TeikaDunmora@reddit
Is this before or after Wesley decided to "go travelling" with a strange older man he'd briefly met twice? 🤨
If your son never calls and you have no idea where he is for months or years, maybe you're not the galaxy's #1 mom.
-dakpluto-@reddit
Travelling?!?! Wesley ended up in the Sovereign Citizens cult...
AdPhysical6481@reddit
He doesn't want to be told to just slap him when he gets on his nerves.
JIMMYJAWN@reddit
You’d think he would at least ask her how she got away with leaving Wesley on the ship for a year while Pulaski was there.
lokiandgoose@reddit
Lots of kids go away to boarding school without knowing anyone there.
Malnurtured_Snay@reddit
Because Picard said it was okay
General-Skywalker_@reddit
She came back for him faster than Worf comes back for Alexander
GulNoticer@reddit
He didn't want Alexander to grow up to be a weenus
Upbeat_Leader_7185@reddit
The way she botched Wesley? Come on.
Malnurtured_Snay@reddit
What parenting advice could Wesley possibly give?!?!
bebopmechanic84@reddit
It's a fair question but everyone is forgetting he went to Troi a LOT, AND made Troi Alexander's godmother!
Physical-Name4836@reddit
You mean Alexander’s So'chIm?
😉🖖
Seeker80@reddit
Worf: I am having problems with Alexander.
Troi: Maybe you need a relaxing outing. When was the last time you went to the holodeck? I could go with you again...
Worf: I thought that we could visit the transporter room.
Troi: Oh, you're playful today Worf. We are at warp! laughs There's nowhere...to...go.
Worf: Precisely.
fivetwoeightoh@reddit
Alexander could not tap dance or play-act his way to honor
No-Flight-4214@reddit
Klingons seem patrichial.
