I got a mr556a4 11 inch for 3100 in feb for 3100 shipped its very meh its not any more accurate than my other piston guns and it just feels like an ar15. Plenty of better ways to spend money. Nobody except an hk nut is gonna look at that gun and go "wow cool 3000 dollar gun." Everyone at the range is going to think you have like a 800 dollar ar15 pistol.

Yeah once i got over the HK part it was a very eh why did I spend 3100 on this. The sp5 I would buy hands down again I love it, the USP is great and they have some other decent offerings. The hk mr556 a4 pistol is 11 inches not 11.5 Also, the DD is direct impingement so not really comparable. Geiselle is also direct impingement. Sig spear I have heard nothing but bad stuff about them they are pretty overrated and especially with the stuff going on with the p320 I would not buy any of their firearms. PWS i have no experience with but they are definitely not a name brand like HK. Out of all of the guns you listed I would probably go hk.

If you sboot 5 times a year then yeah, you’re not gonna get an inherently different experience from a PSA over an HK or SR15 or whatever. But if you really needed to start pushing it to its limits the higher end ones are going to keep on going well after the cheap ones give out.
There’s a law of diminishing returns that hits pretty quick in most anything after $1000 and even moreso after the subsequent next $1000.

The usp in 9mm is a waste but in 45 is still really good. Its much better built than the fn 45 and 545. I shoot my usp 45 expert all the time. Disregarding price though, I also like the mark 23 more. It makes the usp feel cheap and it recoils even better. I like that the trigger is metal. The finish on the slide is better.
