Most GT fans know about the infamous Marlboro incident - while in Whitby, the team stopped at a fish and chip store for a takeaway, and while they were in the restaurant someone got into Clarkson's car and stole a pack of Marlboro cigarettes off his dashboard.
However, the next part of the story is not as well publicised. The GT road crew were staying the night in a pub close by, and no-one knows if they knew it (and were in on the prank) or not, but the simple fact is the partner of the landlord of that pub was the person who stole the Marlboros. To dig it in, he actually changed the name of the pub's Wi-Fi to 'I STOLE CLARKSONS MARLBOROS' for the night.
