They converted a Suomi SMG drum by grinding off the feed lips and silver soldering a vz61 mag on it. Made it function with a spacer, a single feed diverter, and a hand full of dummy rounds attached to the original follower in the drum. If I recall correctly this holds around 75 rounds of .32acp I only know this as they posted a step by step guide a couple years ago and I have since been acquiring all the necessary part to build my own.
In progress. It was running ball ammo perfectly, but didn't want to feed hollow points or flat points, so we redid the feed ramp and have it feeding hollow points. Now to finish prototype 2.0, and assuming that runs everything, then off to be 3d modeled and eventually produced.
Three part question: How possible would it be, How much money, and How much time would it take to get one of those drums from you? I'm in VA and won't be able to source anything in a couple months.
I've had a few people inquire about them in the past. Kinda pricy unfortunately, but you can shoot an email to Scarlett@mcweaponry.com for further inquiry on them.

Is this a drum body on a 20rd mag?? I dig it but also don't lose your offhand index finger.

Do you still have the guide images

I’ll have to look back a couple years in my library

Where does one find the guide?

It's a suomi mag converted to feed 32 ACP to a modified vz61 mag tower. I think it holds 73 ends or something?

This a strong contender for my daily tradition of New Favorite Thing Ever

A very cool build. How hard would you say building a VZ61 kit is?
mcweaponry@reddit (OP)
This one was a day long project. Nothing crazy to build.
GunnitRust@reddit
The welds. I’ve seen so much clean stuff from you I know you did that on purpose. I can’t stop laughing thank you.
Suomi mag?
mcweaponry@reddit (OP)
Yep suomi 73ish round mag. And yep, I have 2 modes. Classy and garbage.
GunnitRust@reddit
How did the .32 bodyguards work out? Speaking of classy.

That’s cool. Single stack was always easier.

Amen to that brother.
Jol-750@reddit
hello guys i am from europa and i want to ask did someone can resell vz61?
Downloading_Bungee@reddit
Did you have to modify the mag to reliably feed 32 given its shorter overall length.
mcweaponry@reddit (OP)
Yes, significantly.

This is fucking sick, great job
