I currently have an i5 9400f but I found a used 9700f that costs 12k jpy(75usd) which is pretty cheap was planning to upgrade to am5 but ddr5 is expensive AF.Im open to other upgrade options other than buying a used 9700f

No point. You're better off saving up and buying something more modern

I have the money for it but I dont wanna pay bs prices for ddr5

Then dont. The 9700F for that much is really not worth it, you wouldn't really get that much improvement and even a 5600 would be far better for not much more

I’ll consider it

if you really lack performance (for your games fps) then 75$ is not that big of a spending, but it wont be much. https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/7182vs6056vs3465vs5885vs3397/AMD-Ryzen-7-9700F-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-8400F-vs-Intel-i7-9700F-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-5600GT-vs-Intel-i5-9400F
