I have the wolfhound one and I find it to be a very good soft shell jacket. Comfortable, not to big or small. Insulation works well but if it is anywhere near freezing I throw a thermal layer underneath and I am very happy with it. I think it punches way above its price.

I have one. For 0F night shoots I'll layer merino->normal t shirt->merino hoodie->this and be perfectly fine while I watch others shiver I would strongly recommend you look direct on helikon's site to get their sizing info and then pick the right size here. I have XS and it fits perfectly as measured but I've noticed my fellow Americans tend to struggle with ego sizing and refuse tape measures for clothing

Seemed a bit more durable to me. I've had the Hellion snag on branches and whatnot, have definitely been a bit worried and tears. Neither are rugged jackets but the Wolfhound feels a bit more resilient to me.

I have both. The Otte is warmer and heavier all around. This is more comparable to Ottes lighter jacket (ursa?) but they stopped making it. Ultimately the LV was too bulky for bringing along in the field, and it's not super breathable, so I sold it.

Adding to other questions about the level of warmth here. How does this compare to a proper down puffy of similar bulk?

Very lightweight synthetic fill, this isn't going to be the warmest thing on the planet but it's meant for stuffing in a backpack while hiking or whatever so you have a layer to throw on if cool weather or a bit of drizzle blows in...generally speaking this would be a midlayer under a shell when it's genuinely cold, or good as a top layer for running errands or doing chores when it's 30-50F outside.

This is an Atom LT equiv, so less warm than down, but more breathable. Insulation is synthetic

Just FYI these run small in the chest. I'm not super jacked or anything, but I was worried I'd pop a seem in the shoulders when I moved in it. Size up.
