Why is my Codex CLI randomly speaking Chinese?

Got a weird one. Codex CLI started showing random Chinese text in the middle of normal output. No Chinese input. No related task. Just appears out of nowhere in the CLI. Not breaking anything, but definitely unexpected. Is this: * A model glitch? * Encoding issue? * Some known bug? Screenshot attached.

Yeah, sorry. I was pushing some of the bright buttons over here at OpenAI HQ. Had Codex vibe up a 500k line patch and pushed it to prod, should be fixed now.

Because its trained on chinese, and I would assume has some distillation from chinese models. LLMS arent actually intelligent they just output whatever token makes the most sense next, if that token is chinese or was commonly related to chinese in its training data then the entire output will be chinese
