About £4 for 300 miles of battery range…

How much did you pay for your electric car and how much does the 300 miles of range fluctuate when the weather changes.

I bought a fairly expensive premium 2 year old EV packed full of options for £28,000 but in fairness I’d also have bought an expensive ICE vehicle if EVs didn’t exist because I wanted to treat myself to a nice vehicle this time round - you can always get one for much less of course! The car could easily do more than 300 miles range when it’s warm like now, I’ve just got a lead foot so I get roughly 300 from a charge. In winter that was about 270 miles (including regular preheating etc) so no worries there. We do about 14,000 miles a year, without the ability to charge at home I wouldn’t have bothered with an EV though.

1.50 in Northern Ireland, seems most places are running around that.

About this in the midlands uk too. And slightly less in the north (as of last weekend).

It can vary quite a bit. On a big main road it was £1.52-ish a week ago (Shell) when it was £1.40-ish elsewhere. Now it’s over £1.50 so I hate to imagine what price that Shell garage is now.

In the midlands is that? But yeah you’re totally right, it can vary so much! I’m a woman who lives in the East Midlands but I do visit South Yorkshire a bit and it varies massively, but also brand to brand - so annoying 🙄

Disgruntled__Goat@reddit

Yeah midlands. The stations on the big main roads are like motorway services, daylight robbery most of the time.

Too much. The fact we pay twice the price per gallon of the US is a joke. They have a literal oompa lumpa for a leader too.

Paid 141.9 earlier today at a Tesco. I usually buy Tesco Momentum which would have been 148.9, but they didn't have any, so I bought half a tank of the basic 95 Ron stuff just to get around.
