A Whale’s greatest fear is to drown, they beach themselves to die slowly, rather than drown. They’ll suffer indefinitely rather than drown, but we interfere with that and save them from death, and force them to drown.

So sad!!! Is something wrong with his sonar?? Or does anybody know what’s wrong with him? Or how to help? It would be a difficult task I guess. If he’s rescued again, I don’t suppose a large boat could follow him and block his way back to the coast. Probably not. We are losing this species slowly. Painful for us to watch and not be able to do anything. Any specialists out there on this species. Can anything be done?????🥲

The solar geomagnetic storms screw w their navigation.
Once the whale beached once, its organs got crushed, he needs to float.
Dragging him back and forth for a youtube channel is the cruelest thing I've seen in a long time

Humbacks (all balene whales) don't have sonar. Only toothed whales like dolphins, orcas and porpoises do. Humpback populations are actually recovering very well since the whaling days. Hard to say why a humpback whale would beach 2 times in a row without a veterinary assessment.

I'm so sad reading about this poor whale too 😭

Stop torturing this fatally injured whale for money and clickbait. It's cruel and disordered behavior.

Read a comment that stuck with me saying that no whale dies of old age. They are either predated or drown. That drowning part got me though. Too old, sick or weak to swim and they eventually just drown.
Obviously this whale is not well. Wonder if it’s thinking he doesn’t want to go out drowning?

Such a sad story for this whale. I just hope that they don’t suffer too much.
