I had the castle and my mom would toss it out when she was cleaning out the attic. My older brother and I would go fish it back out. Then I was a teenager and my younger sister and I would sneak it back in from her cleaning purges. Alas, when I went off to college I lost the battle.

The big plastic one that the figures fit into is actually worth a lot more than the die cast. They are extremely rare because everyone wanted the die-cast and the plastic ones went in the trash.

I still had the blue no.4 cat, but that’s it. I gave it to my son with whatever other old toys I was able to recover from my mom. There was a M.A.S.K. jeep, some frankensteined GI Joe’s, He Man’s battle cat, a pair of Tan-Tans, C-3PO, the exploding speeder bike, a couple BTTF2 Micro Machines and that was about it. No idea what happened to the rest or why those were left, but it would’ve been cool to pass on more of my old stuff if it had been kept. Glad I was able to give him what I could, though

If you really want a grown up one. Look at the one released by Blitzway Carbotix. They gave the 5 lions that form, metal joints, all the weapons, and pilots, it even lights up and has a stage that supports it and displays it forned or as the 5 lions streaming to form Voltron.

I got myself Lego Voltron a bunch of years back. You make the 5 lions and then there are additional instructions to merge them. Took me around 8 hours all told. So much fun.

It really confused the shit out of me when my younger brother started watching power rangers and the mecha dino zoid or whatever it was called looked exactly like Voltron all put together. It didn’t help that the individual vehicles each power ranger operated also looked like the individual pieces of Voltron. Really confusing at the time for me. I felt like Power Rangers was de ja vu

I still have mine too, but one of the wings is broken off. I think the plastic leg of black lion that goes into yellow line is too. It’s in a little box like a sarcophagus; my dad printed a voltron logo stick for the top of the box when he brought it over to my house a few years ago.

My babysitters son has this, and I had the hugest crush on him (I was like 4) and I’m sure it had nothing to do with his amazing toy collection. lol I was stuck with stupid dolls.
