The 2 stage DLC Elite is their best trigger and best feeling one at that. The phosphate is also right up there as well but the DLC is soo slick. The only one that is hit or miss are the nickel boron triggers. For some reason they get gummed up and don't feel as good when they do. I am a G$ shooter through and through but have recently started using the 2 stage DLC Elite in my recent builds. Not because of the money difference but because I like the way they feel.

The break isn’t quite as crisp as the larue, but the trigger shoe feels much more comfortable to me. Very similar performance and feel otherwise. I’d buy this over the larue even if the larue was still 90.

One rifle builder uses Schmid and said some Schmid triggers feel better than LaRue but others don't. He keeps the better ones for himself. Others have confirmed the likely due to variance in production some Schmid triggers are better than others.
The LaRue triggers are just now showing up in stock after being OOS for months. One may find a good sale between now and Black Friday. I bought 3 more LaRue triggers back in late 2024 during a sale just because of the prior increase in MSRP. I did not yet need them.
Some like to install a $7 to $12 reduce power spring set from JP Enterprise or Kaw Valley on their Schmid triggers to reduce the pull weight.

Yes! Husky line indeed! I have plenty of 16” rifles so I’m more than happy with the choice of 12.5” or 14.5”. It would be cool to do like a “modern block II” with a 14.5” mid-length gas under the RIS II. I have one of the Expo branded 11.5” barrels Rosco made and that gun has quickly become one of my favorites.
