Basic rotary dial, lower 1/3 mount isnt terribly ugly, cr2032 battery and shake awake tech with a lifetime warranty whats not to love for $80?? I snagged a pair of em, one for a buddies basic budget 11.5 and one to toss on the shelf until I need a basic no frills reliable red dot sight...worst part is the damn Vortex billboard on the side but I can wipe that with acid or black it out with alumablack in a few minutes without fuss. Im down to fuck around, thats how i find out, great optic for my guys that dont care whats cool they just need it to work and if it doesnt hello warranty. Vortex warrantied my buddies decade old binoculars that his dog chewed up, theyll cover this two decade old tech if we happen to mangle it.

I actually used alumablack to subdue the logos, cant reply with a pic in this sub but I can if you care enough to shoot me a chat. I sometimes use hydrochloric acid (lysol toilet bowl cleaner fel is 9.5% HF acid fyi) but I highly advise you to get some alumablack from Walmart and just apply with a qtip (assuming its an aluminum allow base material you are trying to remove laser etching from anyway) because i have personally damaged anodizing (it was shitty ano) that way so be warned. Im happy to share more pics and knowledge, might be slow to reply at times because of work but I'll gladly help ya out as much as possible!

I bought a couple of these the last time they were posted and they are surprisingly nice for $80. Comes with two mounts as well. I know every persons astigmatism is different but I don’t get the little starbursts shooting off the main dot like I have with my 510c. The main dot is a starburst still but it’s not bad at all. The only real complaint I have is the windage dials are pretty ugly and totally exposed.

It's fine, I use it on my shotgun. It holds zero and after loctite doesn't come off. However anything under level 7 brightness is useless under daylight and 8 is too bright for indoors.
