Yeah unfortunately they’re selling out FAST even at this price. You can fully pimp out the Kuna with the Nexus lower, a good suppressor and Form 1 it for under $2500 optic and all. It’s by far and away the best way to shoot FRT. In my opinion, it’s more controllable than the MP5, and takes no work to tune like the AR platform.

I would agree this is pretty average price, you're benefit is getting it free shipping (and no taxes if not in KY), however, given that Springfield just raised the cost on these I'm not sure how frequently we'll see sub-$1000 deals, at least on the braced version.

Kuna+Nexus Lower with the FRT is by far the best way to experience a civilian “fully semi auto”. The cyclic rate is incredible.
Blows my MP5 FRT out of the water. Now, if I was just shooting it as a PCC? Different story.

Your only hope of coming any where close to that price is if Atlantic gets more AP5 LTs (which would likely run around $900, and Atlantic says there’s no current plans for them to get more) or buying a kuna without the brace (going for around $1k last I saw). Not to encourage panic buying or anything, but prices are much more likely to go up not down right now.

That probably won’t happen until after the summer with the amount of people in VA buying, maybe at all. The Kuna’s price ain’t coming down anytime soon, and the sales in general on guns haven’t been hot. I think the dollar is a lot weaker currently than this point last year.

In terms of recoil… the MP5 has less felt recoil. However, the Kuna’s recoil pattern is extremely predictable and the dot almost jumps directly back to target.
It’s a personal preference thing for people, but I prefer how the recoil pattern is on the Kuna. You feel less recoil on the MP5, but with cyclic rate you’ll get off target fast.

I was really interested in the Stribog, but what helped me decide is the availablity of FRT/SS. It's basically non-existent for Stribogs and from what I understand it wasn't really designed for it. With the Kuna, yes you have to buy a different lower, but it's more readily available than on Stribog which has been around longer. For many people this isn't an issue, and there's probably just as many people who will tell you the Stribog is the better choice I'm sure.

You're right, and I admit in the post it's an average price but with KYGunCo you get free shipping and no tax outside of KY so you're saving versus a lot of other dealers. Plus, they did just raise the price on these so I'm not sure what deals we'll be seeing going forward. I think of this as more of an in stock notice with okay price for those looking (which I know there's a lot).
