I get it - when I look for jobs, I see some paying $15/hour, and that seems so high to me, because in high school, I was making $5.25/hr. And, minimum wage in my state is $7.26/hr.
But then I remember that I make significantly more than that, so it really isn’t a lot, and definitely doesn’t hold much buying power.
Especially when it cost $40 for two people to eat at McDonald’s the other day, and that was just for a sandwich, fries, and drinks for each.
I told an anime message board once that a million isn't a lot of money and got ran out. They probably thought I was making up having a wife and kids. 😂
