100 dollars is still a lot of money. Prove me wrong.

For me $100 can still go pretty far but I think that's more about how I live.

How much time and effort would you be willing to make to earn $100?

Depends. If it was a piece of artwork perhaps 20 hours

I'd underside you then and do a piece in 5 hours.

Well, in that scenario, you're only valuing your time as being worth $5 an hour.  I think that was the point of their comment.

Yes. I can do basic maths mate. I'll also point out that some people literally have to take what they can get.

What are you trying to accomplish with this post? Seems pretty bad faith.

And yeah, to me this is like when we go to the Mellow Mushroom and we check out... I still think holy shit that's a lot of money for pizza $100

I get it - when I look for jobs, I see some paying $15/hour, and that seems so high to me, because in high school, I was making $5.25/hr. And, minimum wage in my state is $7.26/hr. But then I remember that I make significantly more than that, so it really isn’t a lot, and definitely doesn’t hold much buying power. Especially when it cost $40 for two people to eat at McDonald’s the other day, and that was just for a sandwich, fries, and drinks for each.

Depends on what you're buying, right? For lunch? Yeah that's too much. For a ticket to a game or something? Totally fine.

Any amount of money is a lot when you don't have it but not a lot when you go to spend it.

I told an anime message board once that a million isn't a lot of money and got ran out. They probably thought I was making up having a wife and kids. 😂
