6 MOA is great for my astigmatism. I see a tail coming off the dot but I can clearly make out the dot. I run this on my Shield Plus CCW.

I have Defender ST 6 MOAs on my M&P gen 1, and M&P 2.0. The circle is clearly a circle with a smal flair / tail.
I have defender ST 3 MOAs on my SW22 Victory and Mark IV that I shoot at 25-50 yards. The 3 MOA dot is a star with my right eye and a Dot with a few small flairs in my left. They work, and the small dot helps for shooting long distances, but the 6 MOA is sooooooo much better for 5-25 yards with my astigmatism.

Warping of the image at the edges of the glass. For example, if looking at trees in the distance the trunks of the trees will be straight up and down through most of the window, but at the edges the trunks may appear "bent". That bending of the light coming through the glass edges is what I'm calling "fish eye".
Most dots don't have this issue, but some do. The Defender line from Vortex does not have this effect.

Yes I have. My eyes HATE green. Both eyes see double green dots with tails/Flairs. At night when looking at green traffic lights in the distance (like 100 or 200 yards+).
My astigmatism really really hates green but red is fine. When traffic lights are red at 100 or 200+ yards I only see one light, unlike green that doubles in the distance.
