(Review/Questions) The Sohoo S115 (Step-Thru), my first and only e-bike that I've owned since 2024! Have any of you owned an e-bike from Sohoo before? Would you personally recommend this brand?

Pictured here is my Sohoo S115 (Step-Thru), my first and only e-bike that I've owned since August 2024. Of course, it's my main mode of transportation, and despite the numerous issues that I had the misfortune of dealing with along the course of a year and a half (do I even need to go into explaining it all?), this thing is still going. It's a surprisingly durable and tough son of a bitch, even after I got hit by a car the day after Christmas 2024! Recently just had brand new tires and tubes installed, along with Tannus Armour for even more protection against flats (because I just became so sick and fed up with getting flats seemingly on the regular; honestly, who doesn't get sick of it?).
In terms of customer service, they've been helpful and responsive in my experience. I only called Sohoo one time, and it was because I initially thought the motor had failed after managing to fix my rear tire. They responded, saying that I needed to ensure that the arrows lined up with each other on each end of the motor connector wire before plugging it in. Silly me.
Yes, it's Chinese made (despite Sohoo owning a warehouse in Chino, California, which isn't all that far from me). Yes, it may be off-brand. Yes, it may not be the prettiest thing now after all it has gone through. However, aside from the numerous problems I've had with it, I'd say the Sohoo S115 has been overall a fairly decent and serviceable e-bike. Would I recommend Sohoo? I'd say perhaps so, in my experience. That is if you don't mind performing more regular maintenance and/or if you are lucky to find a local bike shop that is willing to work on off-brand e-bikes like this. For me, I'm lucky in both departments.
Have any of you ever bought and owned an e-bike from Sohoo? What was your experience? Would you personally recommend or avoid that brand?

I just got one from a friend and im trying to find honest reviews. So you've had it a year and a half with no major issues? The one i got needs a new battery and i dont want to spend all that money if its not worth it.
