About to buy a Cybervelo EK9, anything I should know beforehand?

Has everything I could want in a bike, 52v 40ah UL Certified (I checked the database), full suspension, 5000w motor, etc.
Is there anything else I should know before committing to it?

Theve ek9 seem solid for the money. I hit 43 mph.power u ok hill is good.

Where is the best place to buy upgraded part?

Honestly not sure, maybe aliexpress?

I just got mine . I am 6'7" and this is the reason I picked the Ek9. It does fit and am happy so far with performance. A few of the parts are not the highest of quality. But that was to be expected for the 1499 price. It does do the 45 mph and has lots of power up hill. I did receive a email back about a few of the small things I wanted fixed but when I replied with order # I have not seen a response in 3 days now. So customer service looks like hit or miss.

Here is where I added the extra battery
master-jiu@reddit
Is the original battery removable?

I’ve been building e-bikes for a while. If it’s not a brand name, and speaking just on Chinese bikes, 9/10 there going to lie. A 52watt 40ah battery is huge. It would not fit in the tube. It’s half the size. But at least it’s a GOOD 20-25ah battery. It will go far, it you don’t juice it.I have the bike! And I went to Cybervelo, and they ignored me.It added another 25ah battery to mine. It’s a beast now. I will post my bike and the seller’s message box where I accused them Of doing false advertisement.

Could you post your message to them? I am interested but assumed its an actual 40ah battery

What I need to do for everybody is do a max speed test. But it’s extremely hard to do while riding at those speeds.
It has a 3000volt high performance rear hub only. But don’t get it mistaken this monster has passed everything I have passed. Even the fake Chinese Surron bikes. Lol. The controller says it’s a 48volt. But it’s a nice one. Looks like a 3000 to 4000 volt controller.?? I don’t know why it says that??? Can anyone explain???

I bought one. Love it. 44mph. Get it for $1300 on Aliexpress. Comes in 3 days! We'll built. Fast. Do some upgrades, and you'll have a blast. Battery is about 20-25ah.

Can I ask, it is listed as 40ah on the website, is that not true?
Lordly_Lobster@reddit
Their website lists it as a 1000W motor. And that's peak. The constant power rating is probably closer to 500-750 watts. And I'm kind of surprised it's listed as a 40 Ah battery. A battery with that much capacity would be enormous. Would be worth confirming that it's not a misprint.
frankiek3@reddit
A Slickdeals user measured their "30ah" at 19ah and their "20ah" at 13ah. I'd be surprised if the "40ah" is even 30ah.

I’ve seen speed test videos of 35-40mph, so idk

I just ordered one from amazon for $1251.19 and I also saw 5000w in the pictures and description but as u/Lordly_Lobster said the Cybervelo website says otherwise. I'm 300 lbs and have been looking for something to accommodate my weight for the right price and it was on sale till the 26th so I ordered one. If it doesn't perform well I'll just return it.
