The group started from SAA officers defecting during the Syrian Civil War. The group (FSA) was supported by key western allies like the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany. The Syrian civil war is over a decade long and a nuanced conflict. Let’s not disregard one groups participation because of your misunderstanding of their religion.
