Saw this on The market street in New Orleans yesterday.
CreepyCrawlerRC@reddit
I recently saw one like this in Cloverdale Cal.
It looked badd-ass.
IAmMadRobot@reddit
No I’m pretty sure there are at least a couple more of this one.
Shlocktroffit@reddit
it's a quote from Mad Max
IAmMadRobot@reddit
Do you really think so?
wa11ar00@reddit
The phrase "Last of the V8 Interceptors" is spoken by the mechanic character in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior (1981) while looking at the heavily damaged car, calling it "a piece of history".
IAmMadRobot@reddit
Yes. I know. We all know. The sub is called Battlecars.

Oops, front pic:
TacosandHoes@reddit
I know most people think these are cringe but I would fucking love to build an off-road focused mustang like this
DumbToaster301@reddit
Same. I really want to snag a cheap v6 5 speed s197 and offroad the shit out of it.
Cheepshooter@reddit
6 speed. The V6 is 305 hp, so not bad at all. With a supercharger, it's like 450.
Ange1ofD4rkness@reddit
I'm right there with you. I blame the game The Crew. The off-road variations of some of those cars were awesome
Shatophiliac@reddit
Hell yeah this thing could eat gravel roads like a maniac lol.
Successful_Shirt_246@reddit
Agree, 100% … it is amazing how you can take a tried-and-true platform from Ford and elevate them to another potential. Apparently Audi, as well. Now I am wondering what to do with the ole TDi Stage3… 🤔
Comrade_Compadre@reddit
Only cringe I see with mustangs are fuckin slammed dub rims.
BrilliantMonochrome2@reddit
r/offroadmustangs
giulimborgesyt@reddit
I need to see your TT
BrilliantMonochrome2@reddit
Thanks! She’s in pieces right now but rebirth is imminent
giulimborgesyt@reddit
Nice! 1.8T 20v?
My lifted fiat is all crooked. I need new bushings and an alignment asap
BrilliantMonochrome2@reddit
The 180hp 1.8t was what was originally in it. I’m about to drop a rebuilt 225hp 1.8t and tune it up to around 300-325.
giulimborgesyt@reddit
Sick. I know some dudes who daily 8L A3s with ~270whp. Stock internals. Great engines
Stormy_Kun@reddit
Damn fine daily driver
Angry0tter@reddit (OP)
That’s what I’m saying.
CmdrFallout@reddit
"Last of the great V8s!"
RemnantsOfFlight@reddit
Straight sixes give me a limp two. They're one of man's biggest failures.
CmdrFallout@reddit
Now now; didn't AMC make one that was produced for 50yrs?
RemnantsOfFlight@reddit
Maybe? I'm biased cause I love the throaty growl of a V8.
traplordjohn4130@reddit
What a unit. Not a mustang guy,but I'd rock this battlecar any day.

What kind of antennas are those and what are they for
Fantastic_Mr-Fox_@reddit
Large one is a firestik CB whip antenna, guessing their 42" or 36" model. Smaller one is a GMRS antenna for communications as well.
RhinoPillMan@reddit
Naw, other comments are correct. It’s an Alfa antenna for Meshtastic/ Meshcore. You can zoom in and see the Alfa and 915mhz markings. I have a few of them, as well as GMRS antennas.
TheDrunkLibertarian@reddit
Big one is CB or HAM and the small one is mesh probably, unless it’s a signal booster but never seen one like that
IntroductionSnacks@reddit
The smaller one is probably a Mesthtastic/Meshcore antenna. It would be an Alfa 868/915 from the look of it.
Ubergoober166@reddit
Looks like a radio antenna
Impressive-Order-413@reddit
Looks like mine kinda
