FWIW I went 47/50 on skeet in the back yard with the #6s that everyone said won’t worth shooting skeet with. The ones I missed, won’t because the shells. Also went to a pheasant shoot and they worked well

Thank you for the correction, my terminology was incorrect. I used the term “skeet” as a placeholder for clay pigeons.
I was shooting clay pigeons/targets out of one of the throwers that hooks to car battery in my backyard. I stood in a bunch of different positions away from the thrower, in no particular order. Shooting some doubles out of the same thrower.
(If you want to do that then #6s are fine, for actual trap probably want 8s)

Cheap is cheap for a reason those “storm-exposed” shells might run fine for clays, but don’t expect consistency. If the hulls or primers look rough, pass or use them for practice only. At $0.15/rd it’s a gamble, not a deal.
