Zib militaria, it's a German store, so probably no luck if you're not in Europe tho.
Meganinja1886@reddit
website name please ?
Wie lautet bitte der Name der Website?
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Zib militaria
Meganinja1886@reddit
thank you
SmthnInconspicuous18@reddit
Does anyone know if Zib ships to the US?
potatofamily25@reddit
Well I mean if you've really got the disposable income, then I dont see why not.
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Income? Yes! Disposable? Uhmmmm, i'll get back to you with that...
EBfarnham@reddit
It's an investment.
You could buy $450 of wine, then you drink the wine and enjoy it, but the money and wine are gone.
You can't drink a Panzerfaust 3.
istealpixels@reddit
You wouldn’t download a Panzerfaust 3
EBfarnham@reddit
You wouldn't kill a grenadier, steal his helmet, then take a shit in his helmet and send it to his grieving widow.
Then steal it again.
Status_Rip_7906@reddit
You also cant scare the fuck outa some people casing your car in the driveway with a bottle of wine
Bloodless10@reddit
Not with that attitude. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.
ilkikuinthadik@reddit
You've just caused this man's mind to be un-changeable.
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Just got the shipping confirmation 😬
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
I honestly think i could easily flip this thing! Never seen one for sale before. A 3d printed and painted dummy would probably cost just as much.
Spectralobserver@reddit
You know that you touch the German KWKG? owning a part wich is a controlled good under KWKG is illegal and you could end with a big penalty. Check this first in detail before buying.
Mandalika@reddit
Not with that mindset
potatofamily25@reddit
Just be responsible with your money, if it's something you could resell one day, then why not. But if you plan on keeping it you better be able to eat the cost of it.

Is it the one that shoots the little sub-caliber trajectory matched rocket, or a different model that fires some kind of actual tracer round?
If you get one, you need to talk to Wild Arms Research on Instagram or YouTube.
And his other projects are worth looking up, like his functional 3D printed four barrel M202 Flash replica that fired real knife-fin missiles using high power model rocket motors.
Right now, he's replicating "Project Swizzlestick." A very looooong 1" diameter rocket over a yard long, that if he can get the solid fuel core profile right, might get... to in excess of 5000 feet per second.
The original was going for much faster. Maybe as fast as 9000.
It was a very inexpensive low recoil project from the 1950's by Westinghouse defense, to replace 20mm autocannons.

I think it's an inert training dummy.
I'm from Belgium myself, so i asked the German seller if the deactivation papers were valid in my country, and they told that there are no papers, as this thing was never capable of firing in the first place.
If it was a sub-caliber model, it would still require deactivation, or a firearms license for the sub-caliber ammunition.
Per the sellers description: It's HK made, with real Panzerfaust 3 parts and sights.
Engelbert42@reddit
The handle and optics assembly can be used on live rounds, so that might be a legal issue. Better check with a local lawyer.
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Those have been deactivated, yet they told me that it doesn't have a deactivation certificate, because it's a complete training dummy...
Yeah, i'm starting to cool down on this idea... This is nice for someone who doesn't own guns, and just wants this hanging in their mancave.
But i do own guns, and ANY infringement on our gun laws means you lose EVERYTHING. And i think this thing sits in a very grey area.
Engelbert42@reddit
I'm not sure how you can even deactivate them. The munition part (launch tube, warhead, etc.) is made as inert dummy to begin with, true, so there is nothing to deactivate.
But handle and optics assembly includes the trigger mechanism and a hammer that would impact the primer. In service the same assembly is used for dummies as well as live rounds, I've never heard of a training unit.
I guess you could weld the the hammer in place... Maybe it's a non issue, idk.
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Well... I literally just got an email that they were back in stock, and i couldn't help myself...
Had it sent to a friend's place and under his name. He's actually super excited about it lol. Once it arrives there, i'll take closer look myself and see if this thing is safe for me to own, or a legal headache.
My friend doesn't own guns, so if something were to be off about this thing legally, worst case scenario: They'll confiscate it, have it destroyed and send him the bill. Which i will pay.
Few_Carpenter_9185@reddit
Ah. Makes sense.
Under American laws, it can vary wildly.
It might be a firearm if it shoots a tracer, and require all the usual paperwork for import or sale.
If it was a sub-caliber barrel firing a bullet, it could even be a 1934 National Firearms Act Short-Barreled Rifle, if the bore or sub-caliber adapter was shorter than 16" or 405mm.
If it fired a training rocket, it might be a 1934 National Firearms Act, Destructive Device, or... a non-firearm like a mostly unregulated flare gun if there's no actual source for the rockets.
I got a Czech RV85 that way about 17 years ago, $199 as a flare gun direct mail-order as the only thing that chambered, and was at all available were European 26.6mm flares, and not ant of the Czech tear gas darts or anything explosive.
I have a Zeiss-Ferro Z51 Gen 1 cascade night vision scope, it came with an HK panzerfaust mount adapter, along with the G3 claw mount & a STANAG adapter. I wonder if it's the right one.
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
I've always had a soft spot for anything rocket launcher. Those early SMAW verions that had the built-in spotter rifles were so cool!
The cartridge they used is also crazy. It's a cartridge within a cartridge, and the action is primer-actuated, which is even cooler!
Particular_Room_933@reddit
Does it fire a bullet cartridge?
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Nope, total inert dummy made with genuine HK parts and optics :)
Engelbert42@reddit
Depends on the condition.
Given how banged up the ones I had in service were I have little hope for what they deemed worse enough to sell... But who knows, maybe it's some new-old stock that surfaced somewhere.
xlaterb@reddit
Oh man I would totally get one. Where did you get it from?
InitialLandscape@reddit (OP)
Zib-militaria, but i don't have one yet lol

I humped one of those around Hohenfels, never thought about buying one. Now I want it too!

I always wanted a deactivated RPG-7, but this thing looks a lot more badass, and costs a fraction of a demilled RPG-7!
Status_Rip_7906@reddit
Same. Got pulled over once (I was being an idiot) and the cop asked if I had any: guns, drugs, rocket launchers, or hand grenades in the vehicle(mostly jokingly) Not old enough to carry but would love to tell an officer I have an rpg in the trunk.
