De Leon is awesome I've gotten an HM3X from them, the full size EPS arrives tomorrow and last but not least the $798 A300 UP beretta... However when they say something take 7-10 days to ship it takes 10 days to ship, don't expect anything less, that's my only complaint.
The window on this is so huge I love it for my shorter rifle. Have the AEMS on my 16in enclosed and with solar. Not as big of a window but still I wanted setup with something enclosed. For a home defense short rifle, this is the best red dot IMO. Ive been thinking about using one as a backup dot on a rifle setup with an LPVO. Might look ridiculous but damn I love this red dot optic.
Run this on my Extar Ep9 with the Hm3x (I have bad eyes), it has been absolutely wonderful. I have astigmatism and I get blooms on both red and green, but this reticle is surprisingly crisp for me. Highly recommend
I have both and vastly prefer the green for my astigmatism, night and day difference in my case. Astigmatism has far more variations than myopia so it is hard to compare one's experience with another.
If you don't care about it not being enclosed, this is honestly one of the best options to consider as a "step up" from their ARO line or from something like a Romeo5. The window is big, reticle is crisp (even with a magnifier), and the QD mount works great.
Bought one for my AP5 but got that stupid crazy deal on the EOTech 512 from PSA a while back so I put it on my deagle. Ridiculous gun gets ridiculous optic.
I want to love this optic but I've had to send it back for warranty twice. First one was an issue straight out of the box where the battery would die in about 2 days even with shake awake and not using it. They fixed it for free. A few months later the button cover fell off and the board behind it broke its glue(?) and fell further in the optic out of reach only being held by cables so I sent it back again for free. I'm hoping this is the last of the issues because I really like how it looks but I do not recommend using it on any serious use gun.
Would you be able to post or send me a picture of the sight picture with this optic on the M4? I am curious what the iron sights obscure. (I am assuming you have the standard pic rail).
