I picked mine up on Wednesday, got the range today, works pretty damn good so far. Shot... 300win, 7Rem, 7Prc, 300 blackout. Seems like a great value proposition so far. No complaints at all. It suppresses quite well, a d it was only $300, time will tell how well it holds up.

The race to the bottom really has begun. An aluminum .30 cal can with a stainless blast baffle and integrated muzzle device. It isn't even a good grade of stainless. 303 is just about the cheapest grade. You can't even harden it to anything useful in this application.

Some ranges in SA had disposable cardboard suppressors you could buy back in the 90s early 2000s when I was there. They would just friction lock on or thread on depending on model. The friction locks worked great on rifles and fixed barrel pistols.

Honestly, I would buy. I want a .22 can that I can put 5000 rounds through, but my .308 hunting rifle gets zeroed at the beginning of the season and then hopefully fires 3 shots during the season.

I'm just assuming any can that cheap isn't going to last dozens of thousands of rounds, and most people don't really need them to. Erosion setting in after 300rds is plenty of life on a dedicated hunting can for example.

Sometimes that's just as much or even more than the gun it's going on lol. If it's literally just a beater and/or it'll only get shot while sighting in and then like twice a year after, it really doesn't need to be all too robust at all to last a lifetime.

I'd be a bit skeptical of these cheaper cans. I'd personally recommend it if you're wanting a can, just save some extra money and snag the Rex Cans that go on sale frequently. I experimented with the cheap can route, and wished I would've just saved my money instead.
