I am having issues with mine. Safe and semi works fine, arc fire i get one to three rounds then dead trigger. I have tried various springs and buffer weights.
Popped on a 300 blackout pistol upper and was able to get 5 rounds before dead trigger.

Cool. I hope it works for you. I had the bolt stick issue so had to modify all my uppers and then had the dead trigger issue. MkII fixed that. I now have another ss and a ArcFire that aren’t installed. Trying to decide if I want to spend another $250 To buy 2 more kits or try the Tromix h3 dead blow buffer. It is significantly cheaper, but who knows if it will actually work?

should be able to get them direct from AS designs. They use good steel in their SS and FRTs. I think my SS from them is CPM-10V, fancier steel than I've seen anyone else use. They also use D2 and maybe 4140 depending, IIRC

I have one in my MPX, with an ASD trip. It runs fine with 124gr and 147gr through my huxwrx 9k Ti. I have issues with 150gr Syntech but that most likely due to the MPX and not the ARC Fire kit.

I have one on a super duty 11.5 with the SSAE-X and H3 and it runs perfectly with and without a cat WB. It seriously feels like the real deal.

You need the AS slip trip to do it. Beware though, the MPX is rough on these things and I as well as several others have made threads about our guns snapping the trips in half and even AS is well aware of this problem.
Luckily they've sent me a free replacement but I've lost faith in the product and fear it breaking again after my first one did it in only \~350 rounds. If I were to do it today I'd just get a Frankenstein or PMM trip bar and a Partisan Disruptor instead, I haven't seen this platform break any cassette FRTs yet.

Someone should chime in on the MPX as I’m only spitballing here, but because this kit is meant to work with a milspec BCG, the MPX will require a slip trip. You can get one from ASD themselves, but they aren’t exactly the cheapest. Other than that the two kits (this and the slip) should work seamlessly together.

I have a Gen 1 with the ASD Arc Fire and their Slip Trip kit. I e had varying success with it. It mainly only worked with 115gr. I tried 150gr and it didn't want to cycle. I've gotten other recoil springs, but need to test more

I don’t have a super safety, but flipping the selector 180* on my arc fire is pretty satisfying. I would say the arc fire is way more intuitive becuase the design is the standard, but if you’re used to and like the SS then it’s probably pretty negligible.

From my understanding the selector switch trips a clutch which engages the lever enabling frt mode as opposed to the crossbolt style super safety where the cam position engages the modified trigger. Idk how the clutch works.
