This AI startup wants to pay you $800 to bully AI chatbots for the day

A startup called Memvid is offering $100 an hour for someone to spend an 8-hour day intentionally frustrating popular AI chatbots. The Professional AI Bully role is designed to expose a critical flaw in current language models: they constantly forget context and hallucinate over long conversations. Memvid, which builds memory solutions for AI, requires no technical skills or coding degrees for the gig. The main requirements? You must be over 18, comfortable being recorded on camera for promotional content, and possess an extensive history of being let down by technology.

If I were a bot, I’d probably have better grammar and a lot more chill. Just a regular person here who cares about the topic, but thanks for the weirdly high-tech compliment.

I like your emphasis of the word irrelevant. It really ties the comment together.

Love when people call in the bot police because they’re offended by others usage of words that don’t align with their first principles of vocabulary. If you really want to get an If you really want to get a rise out of people, toss in an antiquated words that you thought was common. That’s when things get serious prettyyy quickly.
I made the mistake once of using the word, “cocksure” in a post re: humans v. black ice, and people got heated. They demanded to know what it meant. The confusion was seemingly contagious. At least two individuals were outraged enough to have me assessed for signs of life.
There was a thread in which a hypothesis emerged that I must be either a witch, or an 18th-century time traveler with a passion for riling up modern-day society on Reddit. I won’t lie, I didn’t hate the reference.
The bot SWAT team concluded that I was “95% likely to be human”. That 5% uncertainty was high praise as far as I was concerned— and far more accurate than I would’ve guessed.
Everybody learned a new word that day, so they’re welcome. Learning is fun, kids!
