New Buffy series canceled before it started? No fair

Let’s be real. Heartbreaking as it is, I’d rather they binned a scrappy, soulful failure than let some slick, empty suit ruin the memory. I’m still lighting candles for a revival, but Sarah has to be the centerpiece. She is the only thing that can bridge the gap between that glorious, smouldering crater in Sunnydale and whatever comes next. Joss is obviously radioactive now, and rightly so. But the show still needs a fanatic at the helm. It needs someone with that same mad, obsessive vision if it’s ever going to stand a chance of striking the right tone and surviving beyond a token order of episodes before promptly vanishing. .
