Is this a good deal? Do people prefer the DDM4V7 because no ambi controls? I would prefer the 16in barrel, but nothing a swap cant fix. Rifle alone is $1399.99 from this dealer.

My understanding was that the DDM4v7 Mil Spec was a 16 inch barrel. The 18 inch barrel was the DDM4v7 Pro, which also has a rifle length gas system.

The pro doesn’t come in that color, at least not that I could find on their website.
I would definitely ask for clarification before making this purchase.
That said, a standard black DDM4v7 best price I can find easily right now is $1299 at Fin Feather Fur. Best price I could find easily in Vortex Venom is $250.
So if you like the color, want the 16 inch, don’t mind the smaller gas system, and wanted that specific optic, you pretty much get a free scope mount, which this one is around $100.
