Fit and finish are fine (not excellent, not bad), trigger is weird (the break feels like you're snapping something, but not much uptake and it is a crisp break, albeit probably around 5lbs at the wall - no complaints, just takes some getting used to). I've only got about 300 rounds through at this point, but not a single issue yet and it's stupid accurate.
For the price, very solid entry point into 5.7 in my experience, but I got mine around $329ish

Ive owned a fn and currently have the ruger and the psa rock. Id recommend the rock 5.7, then the ruger, then fn last. The rock does everything for less. The ruger does have nicer sights, but I run a rmr anyway so it doesn't matter.

I mean... sure. 5.7 is a novelty range round though. But all the 5.7 pistols shoot stupid flat, hold 20rds and are similar in price. If that's the base expectation, having the added ability to actually carry the gun is a huge plus.

Quick update after a range trip yesterday and another 100 or so rounds on it: I feel like the trigger is starting to break in, and was really pleasantly surprised afterwards. Very crisp and pretty light now overall, still almost no takeup. May be an outlier and YMMV, but honestly better than my M9A4 and P226, right in line with my 1911s

I own the FN gen 3 and it looks like trash but feels great in a large palm, stupid easy to manipulate and has amazing accuracy at range with a 1 moa SRO. Trigger is great not amazing. Looking at suppresors recently to drop the fireball and get some more Oz's out front for faster resets.

5.7 is a really, really cool round. I think the price per round turns people off and conversion for a standard AR platform is expensive. It doesn't reach out like 556 by any means so doesn't have the flexibility but that's not what it was designed for.
Incredibly accurate and has nasty penetration ballistics. Really fun to shoot.

Price per round has gotten better. It seems to have leveled out around 40 cpr, so right around the cost of 45 and 556.
You can burn through it quick though, especially when all of the pistols have 20+ round mags.
