Idk what new model means, but I've had an sfx pro for a little over a year now. It's been totally reliable, great trigger, extremely accurate, but I just don't love it all that much.
It just feels like it has a lot of muzzle flip and no matter which back strap I use it never really fits my hands properly. It's also not compatible with any of the pdw chassis that I've seen or any of the Wasatch RoboCop parts.

i experienced the flip. i ended up splurging on a black brass backstrap (extra weight on the frame) and it really tamed it. it didnt completely fix it but very noticeable improvement

Far be it for me to discourage people in their pursuit of happiness but every canik I've bought gave me trouble. The tti combat and the mete mc9 had big burrs that led to out of battery problems and other reliability issues. Just a buyer beware that you might be inheriting a work in progress with their quality control

I have a Rival SFx that is a great shooter and takes all ammo. My TTI Combat is another story. It's a work in progress with Canik support.

Im experiencing that right now. Got a sfx rival mid Jan and magazines dropping out during firing. Month and a half goes by with no response to emails, ive emailed canik, canikusa, and century arms. Called century arms, got new mag catch and spring and the issue is still there. Called again, and now they've sent me an email to do the rma.
I probably wont buy another canik again.

Ive only had to reach out to them once, but i lost my slide release spring and wanted to see if I could just buy the spring directly from them instead of the kids people sell.
I never got a response but a week later i had a spring in the mail lol.

This is essentially exactly my issue with my prime. They sent parts after 6 weeks of emails and speaking with Felicia the hateful cs person. I installed them same problem traded it to bass pro so i wouldn’t have to look at the poor sucker who bought it. Never again Canik… never again.
