How do you still read online articles?

I have an ad blocker, and I have some sites set to auto enable reading mode. But mainly, I read news in the Apple News app, or if I’m trying to find something else and a site is too annoying (e.g. overly big and hard to close cookie banner) I’ll just click on the next result instead. If you are on iOS, and are fairly up to date with software updates, Safari has a ‘remove distracting items’ option, which lets you click something on a page and make it disappear. To use it, click the lines to the left of the website URL, click ‘Hide Distracting Items’, click on what you want to remove, click it again to confirm. This saves per site, so you don’t need to do it again if you refresh the page (unless the site is a bit annoying and updates it dynamically - like this won’t work as well to remove ads for instance). I often use it to get rid of cookie banners, and other pop ups.
