BX was the first thing I thought of as well. My dad had a BX TZD and did over 300,000 mile in it. Great car for its time if you had the sphere's replaced every now and again.
My dad too, we had 2 BX and the last one fulfilled it's 2 years of use.I wanted him to have the Xantia but one day he came back in a w123. I was so bitter about it lol
My dad had one to, I fell in love with that car as a 8yo kid. I still have a photo posing next to the car, showing off my cool Casio watch *and* my snapback cap.
The dashboard was highly futuristic, with a lot of blinking lights and digital meters. The car had hydraulics and lifted itself when it started. I felt like dad was the Nightrider himself, driving a Transformer. The coolest shit ever
Funny, I watched JayEmm’s new video on the Citroen BX yesterday and fell into the Wikipedia rabbithole afterwards where I first saw this one. Very Gandini.
