In another forum some claimed it is likely the same as Federal Gold Medal Target. I tried a box of that a year or so ago and recently tried a box of gold medal match now that it has been reintroduced. I actually get better results from my Automatch that I bought in 2022 than I do with the gold medal match. A friend received some Automatch that has dark gray lead bullets and he found and I confirmed that those shoot worse than the older Automatch that has more of a silver color to the bullets. My rifle is a Tikka t1x and he has three different CZ 457 rifles.
I had one old lot from 2022 of Automatch that gave me more 1 MOA groups than not at 100 yards but other boxes have provided larger groups.
CCI SV has not performed well for me either as I typically get one or two flyers for every five round group. My friend that has 3 CZs and also a Ruger Precision Rimfire and a 10/22 Carbon Fiber also found that CCI SV performs worse in his rifles than some Federal branded bulk ammo.

Yeah, automatch changed a few years ago. Folks used to really like them but the quality dropped. Still great bulk plinking ammo but its not the bulk “almost”match it used to be.

I have a bunch of that Aguila ammo but I don't use it in my Tikka T1x because just about any of my boxes of Automatch will provide smaller groups than any of the Aguila. I found with a rifle with a dirty bolt face that pushed the firing pin off the rim partially that just about any ammo has more reliable primers than Automatch when it comes to firing with a suboptimal strike. Most of the time it's not an issue with the Automatch. The Aguila ammo feels like it's loaded hotter than Automatch. I'll have to test it with my Garmin chrono someday.

Just going off my own experience from a few 10/22s, TX22, Hi-Standard, and CZ452/457s and the ExpertVoice discount. Unfortunately CCI hasn't been making many batches recently, so the pickings have been scarce even from distributors. In my experience CCI SV is generally the most accurate of the budget plinking ammo if you can tolerate the low power, while Aguila/CCI Minimags are going to be the most reliable of the budget ammos in the largest diversity of firearms and reasonably consistent in accuracy for high-velocity options. Eley, SK, Wolf, and Lapua will all be significantly more precise, but it's hard to get them at reasonable prices these days.
Scheels actually has cheaper bulk packs than the deal in the OP (eg https://www.scheels.com/p/02089210512 is 5.35 CPR) but I've had very mixed results and Winchester is not to be trusted imo.

Fair enough I’d agree with all that. 14 SD in their testing is a lot better than I expected. I’ve been working through my last few hundred rounds of Norma TAC22 lately and that appears to be much less prolific than a few years ago. Got my bricks for 6 CPR which was a no brainer over CCI SV but looks like I may be going back

federal automatch is my go-to for my semiauto handguns in .22 - runs great and is accurate enough for plinking. it's $20/325rds at Walmart, and I have not seen any better deals online, at least not in the $100-$150 range. Might be some deals in the $200-$300 range, but that's more than I want to spend om just .22 ammo. This Scheels deal is just barely cheaper than Walmart, but it has free shipping direct to me - I don't have to get in my car and shop at Walmart. that's a win in my book.

Don't buy Winchester or Browning 22LR as it gets among the worst feedback on Reddit. My buddy at our gun club bought some Winchester recently without talking to me and was unable to use the ammo in his CZ 457. He showed me one of the rounds that had what looked like a cancerous growth for a bullet and the case had about six or more dents in it. They were not dense from failing to feed but were dense from the manufacturing process. All I can figure is that the round got caught in their tooling so both the bullet and case were damaged but Winchester still went ahead and put it in the box. There were many damaged rounds in the box but they showed me the worst one. Luckily the store allowed him to exchange it for Federal Automatch. Saving 1 cent per round is not worth it when maybe only 25 to 30% of the rounds can be chambered and will cycle without issue.

Sometimes you come across a deal so good you have to get them. I got 9 boxes of the 200 round White box 5.56 because Walmart clearanced them out a few years ago (California). They're not subsonic at least out on my 10/22 with an 18" FJF barrel. Maybe 1 out of 10 are. Last September, I shot a ¾ moa group at 50 yards and just under 1 moa at 100 yards with this ammo. Recently, it was grouping like Winchester Wildcat.

Federal and CCI and other brands under that name can be hit or miss. I had one box out of maybe eight of Automatch that provided more 1 MOA groups at 100 yards than not. The first three 50 round boxes of Federal Champion that I bought at Walmart in 2022 provided consistent one MOA groups at 100 yards. No Champion ammo that I bought since then from any store has provided decent groups.
Some of the worst Federal ammo I got was a box of Federal Gold Medal Target a year or two ago and more recently a box of Federal Gold Medal Match.

These were shot from the same 1901 box I bought in 2020. I've shot 10 shot one hole groups with CCI sv at 50 yards. The next group was 2 moa, all the same 50-round box of cci sv.
I've learned my lesson buying federal champion. Ftf and fte every other round. Never again, just like Winchester and Remington.
I've even bought eley, lapua, and sk. Some shoot really good, but trying to find the same lot is next to impossible unless you buy 5k rounds of the same lot.
I've completely given up on trying to make my 10/22 a tack driver, and I'll be buying a CZ457.

My friend brings his 3 CZ 457 rifles to the club each trip and leaves his Ruger Precision Rimfire and 10/22 Carbon Fiber at home because the CZ rifles shoot smaller groups with most bulk ammo he uses.

They will probably be subsonic out of a shorter barrel. I moved onto CCI clean-22, and I'm pleased. Groups well even with 10mph wind, fantastic ammo except for the price.

I can't put in any of my CC info. Tried to register an account and add it that way and it didn't work either.
I can add my name in the "creditCard.holderName" field but I cannot type (or select a drop down) in the "crediCard.cardNumber.label" field which is the credit card number. Something's shitting the bed for me in google chrome on desktop :(
