Mid-engine 6.0L V12, adjustable air suspension with up to 13 inches of ground clearance. Only 6 units built from 1992-1995, original MSRP was over $300k!
Also air suspension kinda sucks for that sort of use case, by its nature it's extra stiff when raised up and extra soft when dropped down which is the opposite of what you want.
Air suspension is good for maintaining ride quality at a fixed height under variable loads and it's fine for variable height in specific situations but not for variable height in active use.
I'm doing mental gymnastics trying to figure that out too. Something to do with. It's length, lift and the tires filling out the wheel well properly, rather than being misaligned and mismatches
its that line that runs through the middle of it, helps that the body looks more 80s- boxy rather than like a 1991 mazda rx7. the rims also sell the look

Fun fact:
The rear lights are from an Audi Coupé Type 89.
L3sh1y@reddit
And those things are ENORMOUS! It looks like a raised Coupé, but in fact those are almost Hummer H1 sized
therealSamtheCat@reddit
I knew it was big. But bigger than a H1, colour me surprised!
L3sh1y@reddit
Its 5,08m long and 2,22m wide (200" long and 87" wide), about a foot longer and one inch wider than the H1 at 4,70m and 2,20m (186" and 86")

Would love air suspension that can raise my car up high as well as drop it to the ground. But that costs as much as my car itself

Never thought of that. Thanks for teaching me something today
teriaksu@reddit
it's not that straight forward. the dampers have a great influence on it all

Also a very expensive failure point.

You ll be thrilled to learn that Aixam is still around... and doing pretty well !
They specialise in cars that don't need a license.
Away-Squirrel2881@reddit
They certainly didn’t make money on these Megatrack cars if they only built 6 units in 8 years
curious-chineur@reddit
You are right. There were talks of competing in the " Paris-Dakar " rallye raid, but I can't recall if that happened.
kilertree@reddit
Ford really should try to mimic this with Mustang.
jeepfail@reddit
Wasn’t there a rumor of a raptor mustang?
kilertree@reddit
Yeah. There is also a rumor of a four-door Mustang. I don't know what Ford is doing because it seems like there was pretty good evidence for both cars
jeepfail@reddit
Vastly better than the Puma.

how every car should be
Shatalroundja@reddit
They produced 5 cars in 8 years.
