the MK2 system was made by the person who created the A5 system for Vltor. it's basically the A5 2.0 ... same tube, same spring, same buffer dimensions, he just tweaked the spring and weight on the inside of the buffer just a hair to fine tune it. A5 and T buffers are interchangeable among both systems

I knew I should’ve waited a bit. I was going to order the T4 from P.A. but they ended up selling out before I checked out. I ended up going with (2) T3’s instead. Unfortunately, these things have been flying out of stock due to people panic buying them.

Idk what the appeal is of the T4s but I have the BCM kit with the T2 on a 16 inch mid length system and the ejection pattern is at about 4:30 without a suppressor and very smooth. I feel like T4 may be a little too heavy unless you have a carbine length gas system

I was just going to get the T4 since it has 4 tungsten weights in it and I’d have the ability to make whatever T- I needed. I got a T2 for my 16” rifles but going to start with a T3 for my shorties and go from there.

Yeah I shoulda bought the last deal posted. I just realized I’m running a t3 on my dd 11.5 polo k combo and want it a bit softer. So t4 it is. I think I have all the t weights without trying to 😅

Just a heads up, there’s no free lunch. A slower recoil impulse will result it more muzzle rise. I tried a T3 and immediately when back to a T2 because the slow muzzle rise was too disruptive for my liking.

Yeah I’m going to mess around with it and see what works best. I plan on getting an AGB as well. I figured I’d grab the buffer weights since they seem to be getting snatched up quickly these days. AGB’s are easy to find (for the time being)
