Manufacturer is having pretty severe growing pains and QC issues. Search r/NFA folks are getting them cracked, or shooting them one time and they're cracking. The Manufacturer's response to offer a free Klick as a "Opps! Our bad!".
Also, a suppressor they sent to Pew Science isn't the suppressor everyone is getting. They changed the design. They say it's better, like we're simply supposed to take their word for it. Some folks are upset that it's a bit of a bait and switch or they might have gamed the system but sending Pew Science something that would test well, but then send everyone else something else that's likely less expensive to manufacturer.
Unless you're willing to set $1000+ on fire, I'd pick a suppressor from a more established company and let SAW work through their stuff.

How you can tell if it's the Pew Science version or the current version is how the blast chamber looks like, the dealer should include a picture of this and basically every comment saying "My Tisha is great" has the obligatory reply of "well which one did you get?".

I have no skin in the game either, if anything I’m rooting for them because of how good the can is supposed to be (like I said in my first comment). But who said anything about luck? And you really can’t see why people would be skeptical of a company changing the product, especially immediately after it was tested and given very high praise? And even more so when they didn’t tell customers about the change until it was noticed by people who got their cans and saw they clearly were different? It’s pretty funny you’re calling others that when you’re the one who can’t comprehend a pretty simple concern here.
People are skeptical because not only the initial lack of transparency about the change, but also because it’s unfortunately not out of the realm for companies (talking across the board not just this specific industry) to game test results and/or change products to their benefit (cheaper to produce, easier to scale, etc) even if it makes the product worse for consumers. And here you might potentially have a combination of that, send one version of a product to be tested and then use those results to help sell a different version to consumers.
I’m not saying that’s what is for sure happening here, but it is what people are worried about, and it is a valid concern. People have little reason to just take a companies word for it.

I dont disagree, but, do you pay pew science 4 grand every time? Does that make you feel better to see results? Do you only buy cans that pew has tested? Like if otter creek drops a new suppressor and it wasnt tested by pew, im sure its gonna be good. I get this is a new company, but they are also the leader in performance. Growing pains but hopefully a trustworthy place to spend money. If they weren’t, ya know reddit will tear them to shreds.

Some people only buy cans that PEW has tested, yeah. Especially at this price level and with things developing as fast as they are right now. And with your OCL example, yeah they are a proven company with a track record of being honest and taking care of customers, so people will give them the benefit of the doubt. Like you said SAW is brand new on the scene and doesn’t have that built in reputation, and theh made a mistake (imo) of making a change without informing buyers beforehand. I can chalk that up to being a small company and growing pains. But I totally get people being skeptical, because yeah if it turns out they’re not trustworthy and Reddit tears them to shreds that’s all well and good, but it doesn’t get people their $1100 back either.
Like I said, I’m rooting for them, but I also get people being hesitant about taking their word for things at this stage.

I sent mine in, they sent the new one out what had to been the next day. They also sent me a Shiv instead of the 22lr one. The owner of SAW called me and said they were sending the click and I told him I’d rather have a Shiv. Got them both about a week after the phone call. Didn’t pay any extra fees from EVT for the extra paper wok on their end. I’d say they went above and beyond with my sample size of one. I was pretty happy with the whole deal, knowing the chance that it was going to possibly be bad from the get go. They said, this is blemished. If it’s beyond cosmetic, we will send you a new one. They did, along with a plan B muzzle device, and muzzle break. And a Shiv.

It seems like it’s an incredible suppressor but there’s no shot I’d spend more than a grand on one until like next year when they’ve had some time to work out all the kinks they seem to be having. They didn't look like that when they were shipped. When the Ti isn't heat treated correctly after the print they pull themselves apart at the stress areas. That takes some time and could have been exacerbated by shipping in various hot/cold cycling temps.
When EVT ran one hard, they probably strengthened it, which would make that one crack less after then. Not saying any of this is good or bad, just that it's probably not nefarious.
