The safety that comes with it works, but it does not have a real positive feel in safe, semi or super safe positions. It’s just kind of sloppy. And yes, there is differences between it and a modified full auto Colt safety.
The modified colt safety selector, very crisp, very positive detents, It’s definitely worth getting one.

Just so everyone is in the know on these, it’s becoming pretty apparent that these are not great triggers. They have loads of QC issues and you’ll be left high and dry by their warranty when you run into issues. I believe the reason these are always on such a steep sale with other items tagged on is because they’re struggling to sell them on their own.
Not to say all of them are bad, I’m sure there are plenty of functioning units. But I’ve followed the FRT/super safety sub long enough to see consistent issues with these and the company selling them.

It’s actually not bad, haha mine is about 4.5 pounds and pretty close to a milspec, they are supposed to come out with one in the future called the LAT that has a match trigger. But i will believe it when I see it! Mine runs excellent.
