Has anyone got any early 2000s TV show recommendations?

I just finished Miranda. Casually stumbled upon it while sailing the high seas, looking for a different show. I figured I've been entertained by lots of british shows before, so I gave it a try. It was nice, not super funny but it had it highs.
Did alot of you watch it? Was it a thing when it first came out and what was the consensus?
Oh just to be clear, I'm not from the UK. Oddly enough this sub keeps popping off from my feed for a while. The algorithm seems to have anticipated my needs.
Also, any other tv shows you recommend?

Joan of Arcadia (2003-2005) is better than any show I’ve watched in the past, and I’ve watched quite a few.
It’s basically about this high school girl called Joan who’s older brother Kevin is involved in a car accident that makes him permanently in a wheelchair. The entire family’s life starts getting worse since that day, with Joan and her younger brother Luke still in high school.
In the pilot episode Joan starts getting private visits from God, who assigns her different tasks every episode that don’t make any sense to her, but there’s always a reason behind it which she often realises too late.
The episodes also show Joan’s father’s job as the chief of police, as well as Joan’s brother Kevin’s journey to get back to his normal lifestyle now in a wheelchair.
The first 6 or so episodes follow a similar structure, but after that it starts getting a lot more interesting.
The show unfortunately got cancelled after season 2, but all episodes are free on YouTube.

I've started watching Harry Hills TV Burp again today 🙈 I still find it just as funny as I did then.

I've watched all 7 seasons of skins and loved it. I watched the first two episodes of the office and I don't know, it's such a famous show but maybe it's just not for me. I'll keep watching and see if it gets any better

I tried to watch Miranda. Unfortunately, after the first few episodes, I had to pour boiling bleach into my eyeballs and drive knitting needles into my ears.

It's had some slightly more positive reviews than that

Strongly recommend the Garth Merenghi books. He narrates the audiobook versions, which is fucking perfect.

Wasn't a Miranda fan. Plus I'm old - so the decades blur, but from the shows on my media server, the UK ones are:
.. however, the majority on there are US shows, regardless of decade, but not for comedy.

Miranda would be classed as a comedy although I tend to think of it more as light entertainment. Never really watched it as I didnt find it that entertaining. Id say its probably more in line with older programmes rather than the 2000's. Things like Keeping Up Appearances and One Foot In the Grave.
