It'd be nice to have some indication as to whether the handguard has its own switch and one need only bring the body and head (or head), or whether the whole light needs to be mounted, and if so, how one is expected to switch the light (IE, does the handguard have support for adding a pressure switch that doesn't involve velcro or glue)?
I have a bunch of old Surefire handguards for other platforms that have built-in switches but are bring-your-own-light-body, and it'd be useful to know how one is expected to integrate lights here.

Thanks for the question. The Sturmlicht base is printed from a high-strength matte carbon fiber polymer, which gives it excellent rigidity and durability while keeping weight down.
The base version is the housing only. It does not include the light body or tape switch—those need to be supplied by the user along with the light head you plan to run. The Sturmlicht is designed to securely hold and integrate those components.
Also worth noting: it’s backed by our warranty for printed products, so if you run into any issues with the printed housing we’ll take care of it.
