The Microsoft CEO should do a video of him using copilot, like those fast food CEO eating a burger videos

Yep, was just commenting how I’m 100% sure no c-level exec in MS ever used any of their AI products.
They keep shipping “agents” and now Cowork and tons of bullshit useless stuff and the main thing still doesn’t fucking work.
TSiQ1618@reddit
no, they use it, but those kind of people are really into that useless shit. I was looking into one of the ai agents to see what benefit there was to it, and it was just stupid stuff like, "imagine this: You wake up and the first thing you see is an inspirational quote to get you in a positive mindset, followed by a list of healthy breakfast recommendations. After your morning jog(your heart rate speed and distance information automatically logged), you are presented with a schedule of your day based on what's in your emails. For each meeting a list of bullet points to remind you about the topics and people who will be attending the meetings with a a few notes on each person. And a funny anecdote to say during the meeting. After work, it will place a pickup order at one of your favorite restaurants for dinner. Then to wrap up the day, it will give a brief recap of your days accomplishments. Finally, to get your mind back off of a work a choice of 3 writing prompts for your journal". They think of these things, for them, as a productive day

these are the people with 250k salaries, doing almost nothing, while everyone downstream of them creating actual value work their absolute asses off in the factory for 45k a year.
CocHXiTe4@reddit
They tried Clippy and Cortana but nobody wanted them, except for Copilot slime which mogs em all.
rdmodsrtrsh@reddit
I wanna see him use teams.
On a side note, I work in av, I was managing a meeting with someone calling in from microslop using teams, and we had so many problems with echo, and volume and crackling from their side....... then later I had calls from other people like IBM and sales force, and had no real issues...... ms can't even get their shit working well
The_R4ke@reddit
They should eat a data center.
intelligentx5@reddit
I mean it’s ass so why would he lol
D_Anger_Dan@reddit
You have it backwards. Copilot would do a video of the Microslop CEO using Copilot.

Just ask the CEO to search for an email from a year ago in Outlook.

drink water from the data center
eat a computer
Alibotify@reddit
It kind of crazy how few CEOs we’ve seen using their own product. It’s all for us peasants.
MelonElbows@reddit
Eating copilot, you mean.
codalark@reddit
Bet he has features even we as public don’t have yet.
queef_nuggets@reddit
I was actually thinking he might not use it personally. Kinda like how Bill Gates preferred iPhones over the Microsoft phone back when that was still a thing
pragmojo@reddit (OP)
lol the funny thing is they didn’t let employees do that. I used to work with an ex-director in the XBox division, and he said the first thing he did after leaving was go to the Apple Store and buy an iPhone and MacBook
codalark@reddit
REALLY? dang.
pragmojo@reddit (OP)
I bet he hasn’t even attempted to use it yet
thatfreakingmonster@reddit
No, he probably has. I think one of the reasons why LLMs are being pushed down everyone's throats is because it's one of the rare times a "product" is simple enough to be used by CEOs. They're probably genuinely blown away by it because it's the perfect tech for idiots.
codalark@reddit
I don’t doubt it
goodsam2@reddit
I mean teams does the weirdest stuff not even AI if it hallucinates something.

I_burp_4_lyfe@reddit
Microsoft has a great history of faking demos, good idea but no way they would do this in real time
jojohohanon@reddit
Nadella seems like a restrained and thoughtful man. It would be amusing to see him lose it trying to use worst-in-class copilot. It is the only agent that is worse than no agent.
ContributionEasy6513@reddit
I want him to find Network Connections on the first attempt.
