Premier Inn vs. Travelodge - would you pay extra?

Need to book a hotel for an overnight stay next month.
Premier Inn’s are usually my go to, never had any issue. I haven’t stayed at a Travelodge for years but I have had more negative experiences compared to Premier Inn and it does feel very much of a downgrade in a way.
However… it’s £50 price difference between the two. For just one night, do people usually just stick it out in a Travelodge or is it worth paying a bit more for a Premier Inn?
